About

Patrick Hansford is an architect, planner, and educator. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in architectural and environmental design technology. Mr. Hansford obtained his Master of Architecture from Miami University

Mr. Hansford has been practicing architecture since 1986. He began his career working for several award-winning firms as a project designer. He was a designer for Levin Porter Associates working under Richard Levin, FAIA. Mr. Hansford also worked for Dale D. Smith Associates as a designer. Prior to starting his own firm in 1994, Mr. Hansford was a designer and the senior project architect for Woolpert, an internationally contracted engineering/architecture firm based in Dayton, Ohio.

With over thirty years of professional practice, his project experience includes governmental, commercial, industrial, residential, and historic preservation projects. Mr. Hansford has taught architectural design and construction technology at the collegiate level.

Mr. Hansford is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and currently is licensed to practice architecture in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

Mr. Hansford served the City of Centerville for 13 years as a member of the Board of Architectural Review and Planning Commission. He was the Vice Chair for the Planning Commission. He has served on the board and as President of the Dayton-Miami Valley chapter of Construction Specifications Institute. Mr. Hansford has served on the Board of Trustees of the Centerville-Washington Township Historical Society. He is currently the Chair for the Board of Trustees of the Landmarks Foundation of Centerville-Washington Township. Mr. Hansford has served on BGSU’s College of Technology Cooperative Education Advisory Board and the Dean’s Advocates Board for the College of Technology.
