What do you do if your team is resistant to receiving feedback?
The Radical Candor framework has been the most helpful resource here for me. It frames "radical candor" as being the combination of caring personally about the person you are giving feedback to, while at the same time challenging them directly. Doing only one will fail, both must be true. I have found this addresses most issues around receiving feedback, and by intentionally showing that both dimensions matter to you, it can go a long way to building trust with the people receiving your feedback.

What do you do if you're a startup professional facing high-pressure decision-making?
I love the point about clearly defining the problem to solve. As we thought about this at Boomi and Guru, I would add that it was not just clearly understanding the problem, but for a new product, how critical is it for the customer to solve the problem. One tactic we followed when we met with early customers was a ranking exercise. Instead of "is this problem important to you?" which is easy to get an empty "yes" or "no", we would show a list of 5-6 problems, and ask the customer to rank them from most to least critical. This drove much of our early product roadmap.

Civil Rights and Social Action
The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. Created in the long hot summer days of 2009 in Boston, the Foundation distributes $1,000 grants, no strings attached, to projects and their creators. At each fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from the coffers of ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees” and given up front in cash, check, or gold doubloons.
