What You’ll Do

The Device Solutions America Semiconductor Advisory Group is a high-profile team responsible for leading strategic initiatives for Samsung’s global semiconductor business. As an Associate, you will help with the development and execution of key deliverables that impact the business.

  • Support the company leadership in executing strategic plans, facilitating relationships, managing Semiconductor Advisory Board dialogue, and other ad hoc special projects.
  • Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and product development to identify value proposition in the global semiconductor/technology space.
  • Develop presentation materials for business unit leaders, executive management, and board members.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and finance teams to support alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in building and developing network in the technology community to maintain active insights in the market.
  • Perform market analyses, including triangulating data from 3rd-party sources.
  • Work with functional leaders to build the integration roadmap.

Location: Onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 5 days a week

  • Responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations.
  • Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
  • Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.
  • Makes high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Types memos, letters, e-mails, faxes, and creates expense reports.
  • Ensures that all invoices and expenses are submitted on time..
  • Makes travel arrangements and coordinates meetings and answers phones upon request.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or Finance with 5+ years of experience
  • 5+ years’ experience at a top-tier company in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, financial modeling skills, and report writing skills
  • Self-starter with a superior work ethic and accountability.
  • Team player who can also work independently and prioritize across multiple tasks
  • Strength at exceling in evolving environments and handling multiple projects with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and judgement with the ability to navigate relationships up and down the organization.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a capacity for quick learning in a fast-paced environment
  • Korean fluency is required

The pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$104,000—$156,000 USD
