JOB PURPOSE:

Support the Benefits area of Human Resources. Reconcile and audit carrier invoices related to employee benefits and make appropriate corrections in HRIS and carrier systems. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual audits for different benefits-related data points. Assist in maintaining benefit plan compliance.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audit billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy.
  • Process carrier bills and submit for payment.
  • Ensure error resolution, updating, auditing & testing files as needed.
  • Act as an additional company liaison to all benefit service providers, carriers, and internal stakeholders as it relates to billing.
  • Effectively communicate quality and regulatory issues to leadership to ensure process quality and compliance.
  • Provides analytics and ad-hoc reports.
  • Proactively identifies areas for opportunity and recommends solutions for continual improvements.
  • Delivering exceptional and timely customer service when addressing questions and issues
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and knowledge base as it related to reconciliations and audits.
  • Assist with annual Open Enrollment to include attending employee meetings, HRIS set-up, etc.
  • Act as backup to other Benefits staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in invoice reconciliation and audits. Experience working with employee benefits invoices is strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of Excel.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
