Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a mid sized non profit to help them find a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will oversee both Finance and Human Resources departments, playing a crucial role in the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our organization's mission and goals
- Oversee cash flow planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to the management team and board of directors
- Manage investments and audit activities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Human Resources Oversight
- Supervise HR operations, including payroll processing and benefits administration
- Collaborate with external HR service providers as needed
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Contribute to the organization's strategic planning process by providing financial insights and guidance
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of proposed programs and initiatives
- Identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
- Assess and manage financial and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor the finance and HR teams
- Collaborate with the executive team and other departments to align financial and HR processes with organizational strategy
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/senior financial management role, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting practices, grant management, and fundraising
- Experience in human resources management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in financial management software and HR information systems
