Chief Financial Officer - Distribution business

Our client is a private equity backed distribution business HQ in the San Diego area.

This is a hands‐on CFO position within a fast-growing organization. The CFO will ultimately be

responsible for the closing of the financials and creation of the financial reports on an on‐going

basis. The CFO will be responsible for day‐to‐day operations of the financial and accounting

functions and help develop and evaluate operational metrics, support the improvement of

business processes, and assure the integrity of all financial data. The CFO will also assist in M&A

diligence and integration efforts.

This Company is well positioned for continued and sustained aggressive growth. This CFO will

play a strategic role in helping accomplish these goals, while joining a high functioning,

collaborative leadership team

Must have prior experience includes:

Requirements:

• Must currently reside in the San Diego area.
• Must have prior CFO experience in a successful, growth oriented, a lower-mid to mid-market size distribution business, ideally one that was backed by a reputable private equity firm.
• Experience working at a strategic level as a partner to the CEO, Board, operations, and other key executives helping shape the direction of the Company.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, team building, and strategically focused leadership skills that include superior communications, team-based motivational tactics, and creative instincts.
• Must have the ability to help drive the organization and be a strong and supportive business partner to the CEO.
• Prior success upgrading and maturing an organization’s financial infrastructure by improving reporting, budgeting, cost controls and auditing systems.
• Must have strong, balanced technical financial skills with an operational orientation.
