Chief of Staff

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Overseeing day-to-day business operations ensures efficiency and effectiveness. The Chief of Staff ensures that all business outcomes are met.
  • Liaison and Project Management: As a liaison within the organization and senior leadership, the Chief of Staff drives key projects to completion. This includes tracking milestones and managing resources effectively.
  • Additionally, the Chief of Staff functions as a project manager for programs, special projects, and organizational initiatives.
  • Meeting Leadership: The Chief of Staff prepares and leads key meetings. This ensures accountability and smooth execution of programs and projects.
  • Post-meeting debriefs, communication with stakeholders, and managing action items and follow-up are also part of this role.
  • Process Improvement: Developing and implementing best practices to streamline workflows enhances overall organizational performance.
  • The Chief of Staff promotes efficient use of staff time and resources.
  • Strategic Thought Partnership: Acting as a strategic thought partner to the President & CEO involves assisting in determining and prioritizing decisions.
  • Managing time, preparing materials, and brainstorming approaches are essential aspects of this responsibility.
  • Meeting Attendance and Social Media Engagement: The Chief of Staff attends meetings with the President & CEO as requested.
  • Additionally, they engage as an Ambassador for social media initiatives by sharing posts to amplify the organization’s reach and foster community engagement.
