Client Services & Asset Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Client Services Lead to join our dynamic team at Spotify. As the primary point of contact for our Spotify AUX clients, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful end-to-end management of our music consulting services, driving client satisfaction and retention, and expanding the scope of our accounts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, a strong background in client management, and the ability to develop and maintain long-lasting client relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives
  • Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with our team to develop comprehensive music strategies that align with clients' goals
  • Ensure that the strategy is tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client
  • Supervise the implementation of music strategies, overseeing all project phases
  • Continuously assess client needs and industry trends to find opportunities for new service offerings or enhancements to existing services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative assets and innovative tools that contribute to our client services
  • Work closely with Music, Marketing, Product and AdSales to identify harmonies across campaigns and events
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  • Identify opportunities to expand the scope of existing client accounts through additional services or upselling
  • Implement account expansion plans and drive revenue growth

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of proven experience in client management, preferably in the music or entertainment industry
  • Agency experience required. Commercial track-record a definite plus
  • Strong knowledge of music industry trends, brand executions, and marketing strategies
  • Project management experience, including budgeting and timeline management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Music Business, Marketing, Entertainment)

Where You'll Be

  • This role will be based in our Los Angeles office

The United States base range for this position is $138,270.00 - $197,529.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance.
