We're looking for a Director of EMR to join our team. You will directly report to the AVP of Business Operations. Your primary responsibility is to use EMR subject matter expertise to provide guidance on EMR-related initiatives, manage the EMR vendor relationship, and manage the Office Operations support desk. This position ensures compliance and clinical quality are embedded in the company's system-related procedures.
Manages the EMR relationship, serving as the primary contact for resolution, communication, and monitoring of EMR open requests and issues
Ensures the support team is efficient and effective by coordinating the team and individual functions such that project deadlines and department metrics are met and quality customer service is provided.
Leads in the development, implementation and evaluation of operational policies and procedures associated with the EMR, to include partnering with other department leadership, such as Human Resources and Clinical Operations.
Bachelors Degree required or equivalent experience
6 years of experience in hospice and/or home health field(s) required
Experience in planning, leading, and directing complex operational initiatives required
5 years Homecare Homebase experience required
Knowledge of Hospice and Home Health rules, regulations, and CoPs required
