Job Description

  • Represent Grenzebach as an on-site liaison with customer, maintaining strong working relationships
  • Serve as central technical contact person for customer
  • Manage both company and sub-contracted resources, to ensure project execution of upgrades and maintenance services
  • Actively support spare part, training, and warranty services
  • Coordinate with sales, service management, project managers, and technical managers to ensure project execution
  • Maintain detailed communication and documentation of services provide, regular reports covering the status of project activities
  • Provide customer with system optimization and production support
  • Communicate with teams in Germany and US to advise and escalate unexpected challenges and problem solutions
  • Participate in providing on-site technical and operational support in the installation, and maintenance of Grenzebach supplied equipment
  • Illustrate proactive ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and take on an active service role to generate new business for the company
  • Conduct plant equipment inspections and develop highly detailed outline of findings and recommendations
  • Demonstrate exceptional technical skills and maintain a high-level of attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain service documentation and maintenance checklists
  • Comply with all customer and Grenzebach safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Maintain installation tools, test equipment, calibration items, and other required resources
  • Be available for possible extensive or long-term travel
  • Demonstrate willingness to travel throughout US and overseas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Technical Degree or relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience in fiber cement or building materials industry is a plus
  • Strong Technical and background and experience in managing equipment installations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and project teams
  • Proven ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Balance skillset of managing both technical and commercial
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
