FINANCE, DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

The Finance, Director of Facilities Management is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Finance.

This position is located in Montgomery, Alabama.

This is responsible managerial work in the development, implementation and supervision of a statewide building maintenance plan to provide timely maintenance, address issues of deferred maintenance and increase building efficiency for all state-owned facilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Management, or a closely related field
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the management of facilities operation and maintenance, plant operations and maintenance for a multi-campus building system, or large commercial real estate property management including five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
