Head of Project Finance

On behalf of our utility-scale Independent Power Producer (IPP) client, we are seeking a Head of Structured Finance to drive strategic initiatives and optimize financial performance. This role will take the lead on origination efforts to secure tax equity, construction/term loan and corporate commitments to optimize capital structure.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and execute tax equity, project debt, and back leverage transactions.
• Conduct financial analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions.
• Oversee PPA pricing requests, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing strategy and financial modeling tools.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the renewables sector and/or related private equity, with a strong background in tax equity transactions.
• Demonstrated track record of leading and closing financings, and an in-depth understanding debt and tax equity structures
• Proficiency in financial modeling and expert-level MS Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
