What does a Compensation Analyst at Swire Coca Cola do?

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the company's compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our compensation philosophy. Supports assigned HR business partners and their functional areas through job analysis, market pricing, and compensation audits to provide data-driven recommendations that support internal equity and external competitiveness. Additionally, the role administers incentive plans, supports the annual pay review process, and maintains the integrity and accuracy of compensation data

Responsibilities:

  • Perform job analysis, job documentation, and job evaluation based on the company's compensation philosophy for new and restructured jobs using market pricing methodologies and tools. Maintain compensation structures in BetterComp (Comp System) and Dayforce (HRIS)
  • Conduct audits and analysis on job offers & trends to facilitate coaching/feedback to HR business partner team to ensure internal & external equity
  • Create and provide various compensation analyses of internal and external pay data. Recommend actions based on these analyses
  • Administer software modules that enhance compensation function capability (e.g. base pay structure, job descriptions, incentive plan management, recognition programs)
  • Oversee incentive plan communication; provide input and recommendation on plan revisions or new plan communications
  • Facilitate success of Annual Pay Review process by providing analysis, reporting, communications and other duties
  • Conduct FLSA analysis as requested on identified jobs
  • Monitor and analyze emerging trends in compensation practices, legislative changes, and regulatory compliance to ensure our compensation strategies align with current laws and industry standards, thereby safeguarding the company's competitive position and legal compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or related field required
  • Industry specific certifications
  • 2 + years compensation experience in a multi-state corporate environment with 500+ FTE required
  • Experience in conducing job analysis and evaluation required
  • Experience with market pricing and market-based pay structures required
  • Sales compensation experience
  • Incentive design experience
  • HRIS experience
  • Experience with compensation market pricing systems such as MarketPay or BetterComp
  • Advanced Excel knowledge - Comfortable with daily use of charts, vlookup and pivot tables
  • Proven ability to effectively analyze data, create models, reports, and metrics
  • Knowledge of FLSA and other relevant labor laws to conduct compliance analyses
