The Lower School at Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a Junior Kindergarten teacher, working with students ages four and five. The primary focus of the position will be on developing student behaviors, as well as social-emotional and executive function skills that contribute to student success in an academic setting. Additional responsibilities will include teaching the areas of literacy, math, fine motor and language.
Excellent communication in both oral and written expression and experience with technology are required. Minimum requirements include a degree in special education and / or early childhood education, with preference given to those with at least five years of experience and/or experience in teaching students with learning differences.
