We are looking for a Quality Laboratory Analyst to protect the reputation of the 20 Mule Team brand by assuring the quality of the processes and products thereof. To accomplish this goal, our team accurately determines the quality of intermediate products and final products using analytical methods and sound laboratory practices. Our methods are designed to report the physical and chemical characteristics of samples so that plant operations can be maintained to produce a consistently high-quality product, and to ensure that customer specifications are satisfied.

Reporting to the Quality Laboratory Supervisor, you will be

  • Safely performing physical and chemical testing of samples according to established methods with good laboratory practices and within an established time frame.
  • Inspecting, calibrating, and verifying analytical instrumentation, equipment and work areas for proper function and safety.
  • Recording and reporting the accurate data collected and communicating issues that may arise.

What You’ll Bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent technical diploma.
  • Competency in chemistry and mathematics.
  • Experience with analytical instruments including IC, ICP-OES, and UV-VIS.
  • Ability to use common software including word processors, spreadsheets, Sharepoint, LIMS, SAP, etc.
