As a Business Value Consultant (BVC), you play a critical customer-facing role that drives significant growth by engaging in our most important customer and prospect conversations. You will gain invaluable experience consulting with clients and customers to identify and quantify the ROI these organizations generate from LogicMonitor’s best-in-class monitoring platform. You will be key to helping LM accelerate growth by developing a rich understanding of our products and working cross-functionally with our Sales (Enterprise Sales Reps and Sales Engineers), Customer Success, and Marketing teams to deliver this advisory offering. Make your mark educating our Sales teams on value selling and developing tools and templates to support that process.

Here's a closer look at the duties in this key role:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and enterprise customers to develop business cases and strategy presentations for executive audiences, supporting business value recommendations.
  • Administer and evolve our Business Value platform (Ecosystems) to support our field sellers in opportunities of all sizes and industries (experience with Ecosystems is a plus).
  • Engage with clients onsite and offsite to assess key pain points of their existing solution sets and internal processes
  • Understand the client’s strategic business and technical infrastructure goals, and document how LogicMonitor’s solutions can address them.
  • Evaluate baseline, and future, requirements of the client utilizing advanced financial, business, and technical analyses and tools (in conjunction with Sales teams)
  • Develop an advanced understanding and credibility in the on-premise and cloud infrastructure monitoring space, emphasizing how LM differentiates itself from competitors and delivers both tangible and intangible value.
  • Produce quantitative and qualitative in-depth and bespoke ROI models to create compelling presentations. Consult clients on the impact to business value that can be achieved with LM's solutions
  • Work with the Sales Enablement team to educate the sales force on the tools, templates, and processes for engaging and working with the BVC
  • Play an active role in the evolution of LM’s business value advisor team and process. We expect team members, whether individual contributors or leadership, to take a hands-on role in the continuous improvement of this best-in-class BVA (business value assessment) practice; specifically help the development of Value Selling and Realization processes, templates, and tools
  • Work with Product Marketing and Customer Marketing to design a closed-loop business value cycle to follow through and validate value propositions and targets identified in the sales cycle

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree Required (engineering, business or finance degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience required; experience in Business Value Consulting, Sales Operations, Consulting, or Big 4 Audit preferred
  • Consultative personality to effectively facilitate interview sessions with a wide set of constituents
  • High sales efficacy and ability to work well with customers/clients
  • Ability to build Excel financial models and PowerPoint presentations geared for Executive and customer audiences
  • Ability to learn modeling and presentation software quickly
  • Experience with Ecosystems software is a plus

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
