Hedge Fund Accountant

Our client, a growing hedge fund based in CT, is currently looking to expand their Finance team with a Financial Analyst to join a team of 3 people. This role would require significant accounting background.

This role would require 5 days onsite.

This role will support the Firm's business lines with key responsibilities including:

• Managing daily cash activities and liquidity projections
• Assisting with internal loan/investment tracking and financial statement reports
• Reviewing and approving third-party financial reports and loan tracking
• Supporting marketing through deal tracking and performance projections
• Reconciling internal accounting records with third-party sources

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• 4+ years of experience in alternative investments
• Strong understanding of investment product functions and life-cycles
• Experience with database accounting, order management, and reconciliation systems
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• An entrepreneurial, self-driven attitude with high integrity and teamwork skills
• Ability to quickly synthesize complex information
• Excellent time management and clear communication skills
