TITLE: Senior Manager, Operations Improvement and Cost Accounting
JOB LOCATION: Greater Cleveland, OH area (Local candidates highly preferred)
We have an exciting new role within the corporate leadership team of our client in the Cleveland, OH area, a global chemical manufacturing company on growth-mode.
The person in this strategic role will implement a robust cost accounting strategy integrating financial insights with operational activities to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
· Lead and oversee operations improvement initiatives within a global chemical manufacturing company, focusing on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
· Implement and utilize advanced cost accounting methodologies including Standard costing, ABC (activity based costing) and CVP (cost-volume-profit analysis)
· Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.
· Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and efficiency gains throughout the manufacturing process.
· Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
· Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in operations management and cost accounting to maintain the company's competitive edge.
