As a Software Trainer for ServiceTrade, a leading SaaS-based solution, you will play a key role in enabling our customers to maximize the powerful capabilities of our platform. With our focus in the fire protection & life safety and mechanical industries, you will revolutionize how users leverage cutting-edge technology to drive efficiency and performance. Working closely with our product and content teams, you will craft training approaches to ensure customers understand how to optimize every aspect of the system. As an expert user and teacher of our software, you will help users transform their operations through intelligent application of our innovative tools. About you:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and education, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to learners of varying skill levels. You will play a key role in empowering our clients to maximize their productivity and proficiency with our software products through engaging and informative training sessions.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Delivery: Deliver comprehensive software training programs for customers, ensuring a deep understanding of the software’s functionalities. You’re comfortable working with a variety of methods including one-on-one, group, in-person, virtual, etc, to cater to a diverse range of learning preferences.
  • Training: Create and maintain training materials to support virtual and onsite training delivery.
  • Planning: Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in user knowledge and tailor training programs accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams including Product and Training Content to stay updated on new features.
  • Evaluation: Clearly evaluate the effectiveness of training through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software training methodologies.
  • Partnerships: Act as a liaison between customers and the development team, relaying user feedback and improvement suggestions.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of experience in training content development and content delivery; ideally with a saas based company
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to teach product and process workflow to a variety of different skill levels
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Proficiency with Google Apps and service-related applications
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Proven ability to deliver superb customer experiences
  • An average of approximately 50% travel is expected
