Responsibilities:
Work with design team on hardware bring up and become product main technical contact for marketing/field application engineering team
Implement and drive silicon validation and characterization automation
Work with third party certification partners on Interoperability and compliance testing and certification
Work with design engineering and marketing to create application and design guideline documentations
Conduct sales and field application engineering technical training
Participate in product definition, planning, and system validation
Occasional travel to support customers in the United States
Requirements:
BSEE or MSEE with background in one of the fields of Electrical engineering, communication, electronics, computer engineering or computer science
Minimum 5 years of experience as hardware engineer in design, application engineering, or field application engineering
Proficient in operating lab equipment such as oscilloscope, signal analyzer etc.
Familiar with Python programming or other scripting language for instrument control
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Prior experience in networking/automotive physical layer or switching semiconductor products a plus
