WHAT WE’LL NEED

The “Staff Accountant – Corporate Accounting” is a key member of the accounting team in delivering timely and accurate accounting for our corporate stores.

This role requires an understanding of U.S. GAAP and overall General Ledger concepts. A great Staff Accountant is organized, detail oriented, and has good time-management skills.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

• Preparing journal entries and A/P batches for corporate stores
• Recording corporate store cash activity
• Contributing to period-end close activities, including the preparation of period-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Creating and formatting reports and supporting documentation in Great Plains, Oracle, and Excel
• Helping ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP.
• Other duties and special projects, as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple responsibilities
• Self-starter able to complete work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling the building of relationships across the organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA
