Thrilled to share Axelon's impactful journey at this year’s WBENC National Conference! Our commitment to supporting women-owned businesses (WOBs) and fostering diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I) initiatives found a powerful platform at the WBENC. This marked our 10th year of unwavering engagement, and the connections and growth we've experienced are unparalleled. The conference's relaxed environment, focused on real stories and initiatives, allowed us to partner with businesses eager to bridge supply base gaps by collaborating with WOBs. The magic of WBENC lies not just in the business relationships formed but in the lasting bonds that transcend the typical 9-5. Every year, familiar faces remind us of our shared passion for DE&I, making each interaction more meaningful than the last. We leave this year’s conference energized, armed with invaluable connections, a wealth of knowledge, and a rejuvenated purpose. Looking forward to next year and the new stories and successes we’ll share! ✨ #WBENC2023 #WomenOwned #DiversityEquityAndInclusion #AxelonEmpoweringWomen

I couldn’t be more thrilled about tomorrows chat! Camber isn’t thinking about change, or just meeting about change … we’re doing the work and creating models and frameworks for those that really want to be about the business of inclusive workspaces where everyone belongs. We’re cracking the DEI code and sharing the framework with our partners and those partners are experiencing the impact within their workforce and bottom line. In the last 3 years Camber Partners made huge strides in their workforce demographics with underrepresented groups shifting from 17% in 2020 to 41% in 2023. While the overall outdoor industry - non Camber partners are still lagging behind. Our work is going to be a National Case Study this year, it would be a shame for those in our network who want to be apart of real change to be left behind. Camber can do more than help … we have the solutions with data to support. The performative agenda is not longer acceptable to consumers and team members. Let me know if you organization needs support. #letsgo #realchange #dei #belonging

In the dynamic landscape of today's workplace, the collective strength of women supporting each other has emerged as an indispensable force for change. As we navigate the intricate web of professional challenges and opportunities, it becomes increasingly clear that the path to gender equality and success is illuminated by the bonds of solidarity among women. In this era of progress and empowerment, it is not just a matter of individual achievement but also a shared responsibility to create visibility and open doors for our fellow women. This commitment to mutual support not only empowers each woman but also transforms the workplace into a more inclusive and equitable environment. We can collectively shatter glass ceilings and forge a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Last week, I moderated an insightful panel on "Intersectionality and Purpose-driven Innovation: Leveraging Purchasing Power for Business Equity and Innovation." We explored how understanding intersectionality and promoting supplier diversity allows companies to tap into diverse perspectives, driving creativity. By intentionally sourcing from underrepresented groups, corporations can foster an inclusive ecosystem for developing innovative solutions. Let's continue the dialogue and collaborate to build a more equitable and innovative future. #Intersectionality #PurposeDrivenInnovation #DiversityandInclusion #BusinessEquity #SocialInvesting #WeConnectInternational #MoodysCommunityImpact

We're here to celebrate the amazing women coming to our Growth Sphere lunch and networking afternoon in London, in 2 weeks' time! Today we're showcasing and supporting Carla Adebekun at Cohesia Connect who’s attending with her awesome business partner Evelkah Powell (spoiler alert - you'll get to meet her very soon 😁). Carla is an absolute trailblazer in diversity, equity and inclusion development in education and business. Her organisation enriches current knowledge of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Their mission is to prepare people for the diverse environments and bridge gaps and increase understandings of difference by connecting people through conversations. We met Carla in the room at another event supporting Buki Mosaku’s book launch last year (go check out his book, ‘I don’t Understand’ on unconscious bias in the workplace) - and the connection and chemistry was instant and electric. It was the spark that has started a wonderful relationship overflowing with potential for longer-term connections and collaborations. Carla knew she wanted to come to The Growth Sphere because not only would we get an opportunity to connect in person again, but she's most looking forward to "connecting with other entrepreneurs and visionaries, laughter, and fun!" This is one woman who is ambitious, progressive, intentional and radiates a bold, authentic energy that is incredibly magnetic. If you want to get the chance to spark off amazing conversations with gutsy, smart-minded women like Carla who are intentional about creating sustainable, exponential impact - then secure one of the last remaining seats at The Growth Sphere. Ticket sales end soon, so get in while you can. DM for details or link in comments below. #impactstrategy #genuineconnection #eventsinlondon #diversityandinclusion #education
