Our partnership with California Department of Developmental Services and California Health & Human Services Agency ensures the experiences of people with developmental disabilities are visible and understood. Thank you to all who applied to the California Cradle-to-Career Data System’s Community Engagement and Data and Tools Advisory Boards! We received a total of 66 applications for nine open seats. The passion to improve outcomes and positively impact communities shined through each application. We are grateful to our community leaders and members of the public who expressed interest. All nine new Advisory Board members will be officially approved and  seated during our August Governing Board meeting. We’ve concluded our Joint Community Engagement and Data and Tools Advisory Boards meeting! The Office of Cradle-to-Career Data extends gratitude to our departing Advisory Board members who were a part of the first cohort to serve on C2C’s Advisory Boards. The high-level of expertise and diverse perspectives from these members contributed to the early wins of California’s longitudinal data system. Although today’s meeting was the last these members will participate in, they will carry out their duties as sitting Advisory Board members until C2C officially seats new members in August.
