This summer, Seager Nentwig joined our engineering team in Lewiston, Idaho, as one of our summer interns.   Seager is pursuing his mechanical engineering degree from Montana Technological University. On campus, he is a senior resident assistant, co-leader of the Blacksmithing & Casting club, founder and current leader of the jazz band and rock band, NSLS Vice President, and a member of the business guild.   We’re so thrilled Seager found time to pull away from his busy college schedule to spend his summer gaining hands-on engineering experience at our mill. #ClearwaterPaperLewiston #SummerInterns #MechanicalEngineering

We were excited to see a familiar face in Shelby this summer; Russell Mclean returned to intern another year at Clearwater Paper! “I came to work at Clearwater Paper because both facilities here at Shelby contain lots of new and complex technologies and equipment,” said Russell. “I also came to work here because the company wants nothing but the best from its employees, and I felt like I could benefit greatly from this experience.” Russell is almost finished with his mechanical engineering degree at Clemson University, and we are excited to see how he thrives following his classroom and internship experiences. #Internship #Engineering #ClearwaterPaperShelby

We are proud to announce that Clearwater Paper is investing $23 million in a new, state-of-the-art facial tissue converting line located at our Shelby, North Carolina, facility. "Clearwater Paper selected Shelby for its newest facial tissue line due to its proximity to our customers, a growing local skilled workforce, and a history of excellent working relationships with the City of Shelby, Cleveland County and the State of North Carolina," said Clearwater Paper's senior vice president of consumer products, Michael Urlick. "Our investment in a new facial line will enable us to meet growing customer demand, further optimize our network and continue to deliver outstanding quality and service to our customers."
