The NDR Playbook has been downloaded more than 500 times in the last week. Not bad considering its actually fully available to read without needing to download it. A lot of people asked “Does this really need a rename? Isn’t this just what a good SDR should be doing anyways?” Yes. 1000% yes! Honestly, the rename is mostly just to catch your attention, provoke you to think, and create discussion. If we’d just called it the SDR Playbook, it would have been less clear what position it stood for. The narrative wouldn’t have been as strong, right Joe Daniels? Regardless of what you call the role, it’s all about selling and growing your network at the same time. It's sales and marketing in one. You need to use signals to successfully identify the 3-10% of your potential buyers who are actually in market. And then sell to them. But for the other 90+%? Your goal should be to get them involved in your company’s network through community, content, social selling, etc. Here’s the full playbook for you to read or download.
