The JBI approach, backed by over 20 years of practice, shines as a proof of concept. Over 560 documented implementation projects attest to its efficacy, showcasing tangible shifts in healthcare practices across various settings globally. In the tapestry of implementation science, the JBI approach stands not as a rigid doctrine but a complementary guide. It bridges the gap between theory and practice, providing structure while seamlessly integrating with existing frameworks. Read discussion paper, 'Providing a scaffold for considering theoretical frameworks in evidence implementation projects: the JBI approach to evidence implementation'. https://ow.ly/yx6F50Qw83n #JBIEBHC

Calling all PFIC healthcare providers and researchers! 🌟 Module 3 of PFIC Network’s PCORI-funded project IMPACT is now live on our website! Complete the learning module and accompanying feedback survey to help us prepare as a community for future patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) in PFIC! Module 3 consists of a learning segment and a feedback survey, and should take about 25 mins to complete. In the module, we are taking a deeper dive into patient-centered outcomes research, covering topics such as: ▪ What are patient centered outcomes research and comparative effectiveness research? ▪ How can we develop research questions that lead to answers that matter to PFIC patients and families? Module 3 is especially important because we will apply the lessons learned and the insights we gain from the feedback survey results in our discussions at the PFIC Family & Scientific Conference in April! Note: Modules 1 & 2 are also still available on the IMPACT website and offer an introduction to PCOR. Click the link below to learn more about the project and complete Modules 1-3 today! https://lnkd.in/dCs4TxpC

RCOP is back with the CDC Wonder Masterclass! This analysis has NEVER been taught in Pakistan before and has been designed by international big data experts through Dr Shahzeb’s collaboration. It is a completely new form of research that even the best doctors in the world are new to. Which means it will be a unique paper on your CV, and will automatically qualify for the kind of paper that attracts big journals and authors. All students will be added to groups after the workshop and mentors will guide them until PUBLICATION. The CDC Wonder database contains mortality data for millions of people, since 1999. In this workshop you will learn how to access and analyze this original US data. An example of such paper, published by RCOP mentor Dr Shahzeb is here: https://lnkd.in/daKq5kBk. This paper was among the top 10 papers of 2022 published by JAMA- you can recognize the importance and impact by this. The cost to attend is PKR 15,000 The class will be held on June 7, 8 and 9. All interested students can email their name and institute to researchcouncilofpakistan@gmail.com to register. PS: Level 1 is a pre-requisite to attend this workshop.

Quick survey - What do patients and their families want from clinical trials? Due 12 Jun24, 8am AEST. We'll be discussing this topic at the upcoming ARCS Australia conference #ARCS24 with a panel of trial participants, and would love to know how you would answer this question. We are running a quick survey to collect your thoughts. There's only 4 mandatory questions, (plus a few other optional demographic/ contact type Qs if you want to answer them), so it is pretty quick. We'd really love as many people as possible to answer and share this survey, which will close for responses on Wed 12 June, 8am AEST. More details and the survey are available at the link below: https://lnkd.in/gxqPmg8q Please let us know what you think, and share broadly!
