Last week, we held our annual all-hands meeting, a special tradition where we gather in-person as a firm. This year was one of the best yet! A massive thank you to all our global team members, especially those who traveled from different countries to be with us. As I Reflected on the Week, Here Were My Key Takeaways: -I am privileged to work with the most talented and driven individuals in the industry. Beyond their skills, they are incredible human beings. This is something I never take for granted. -Each year, before the all-hands, I revisit the original strategy deck from when I founded Clearsulting almost 8 years ago. It's invigorating to see that while we've scaled beyond my initial expectations, we've remained committed to our core values and continue to nurture the best cultural ecosystem in our industry. -We will not divert from the principles that got us here. Our focus remains on our people and on excelling in the key practices that define us. We're not aiming to do a multitude of things at a mediocre level; our aim is to excel in 5-10 key areas and be the world's best in those specialties. The energy from seeing everyone in person is irreplaceable. It reaffirms our collective mission and the transformative work we do at Clearsulting. Already counting down the days until next year!

Want to know what aspect of Auror’s approach I’m most proud of? It’s how our Customer Success team shows up to partner with our retailers. Every. Single. Day. We finished last week on a real high with a Customer Value Review with Clint Reid CPP, the Head of Group Security at Marks and Spencer. This included reflecting on colleague safety stories, Police collaboration & the latest product innovation. We also identified areas where we can improve as one team, because there’s always room for growth. Here’s some of the secret sauce that has been incredibly impactful with the M&S teams so far: ➡ An extension of Clint’s team Customer Success at Auror learned the DNA of M&S. We’ve become an extension of Clint’s team, speaking their language & understanding what makes their colleagues tick. ➡ Make it easy The Customer Success team are masters of simplicity. They demonstrate to colleagues how easy the platform is to use and how it makes them safer in stores. This, coupled with the growing cohort of user-champions across M&S means it’s a no-brainer for their colleagues to use (and love). ➡ Make it fun We’re loud, yellow and always bringing the energy, because why wouldn’t you want to have fun at work?

We’re inching closer and closer.

It's the vision of MAXX Potential that grabbed my attention at the beginning. I wanted to work with a company that really tries to prioritize their people, encouraging #tech growth and a people-first mentality. When I worked as a restaurant hostess, I had to keep the Guests, Waiters, and Manager happy. It was a delicate balance of seating Guests where they wanted while pacing the seating so Waiters had the right number of tables at a time, and then there was the Manager. Striking a good balance of exceeding the expectations of all parties is a challenging one, and it's notable when a company does it well. MAXX Potential juggles Client Projects, Technologist Development, and Community Involvement to create a Win-Win-Win scenario: Client work is completed while Technologists expand their skillset and experience, and the local economy is improved. I love being a part of this tech ecosystem.

Recast tools provide value to IT teams small and large by allowing them to be proactive, reduce vulnerabilities with patching and knowing what’s in your environment. I wish the IT departments I worked for had these tools, it would have made things so much easier. They say work smarter not harder and the tools at Recast will help your team do just that.
