Ever wondered what drone delivery at scale is really like? 🤔 It may not look like what you imagined. Here’s a short clip of what peak demand in a single market looks like. See them (and hear them) in action for yourself! 🔊🎥⬇️ (Unedited video/audio shot on a Pixel 5) #Wing #DroneDelivery #Innovation #lastmiledelivery
That’s a great post. Thank you, Wing. What we really need to appreciate about drone logistics is the fact that small drones are much closer to “robotic birds” than we commonly think. Of course they are noisy right now. They sometimes crash (don’t we all??). They are really clunky and imperfect machines right now because they need to be. They are explorers. I want to encourage everybody to think about the “normalization” of 4000 lb cars or 10,000 lb trucks. Keep that in perspective when you hear a drone overhead or see a drone crash. These things will happen (and to some degree need to happen). We would be totally dishonest if we would not talk about these very likely outcomes and hopefully we see more risk-appropriate perspectives in future posts as well. Robo birds don’t poop!
Quite annoying noise pollution. Even the crow is annoyed.
definitely not easy! 😅
