Apple's WWDC 2024 unveiled a lot about this year's releases, and it also has massive surprises with macOS 15, dubbed as 'Sequoia,' following its iconic naming of the Mac releases. First off, one of the most impressive features here is the iPhone Mirroring which will allow users to AirPlay their smartphone's display to the computer, instead of only streaming entertainment and media.
Moreover, there would be the arrival of the Passwords app, as well as the iconic Apple Intelligence, and ChatGPT integration, with many more announced.

However, there is another big update for macOS 15 offered by Apple and it is the so-called iPhone Mirroring feature that will allow users to use their iPhones right on the computer. This is more than a screen mirroring and AirPlay feature, as it allows users to control their Apple smartphone, from swiping through apps and using them, down to offering the iPhone experience on the computer.
Next up, Safari is getting a revamp on Mac with Highlights, Reader updates, and Viewer for enhanced streaming features.
Apple also put a massive focus on Mac Gaming in this update, as apart from new titles to enjoy, a more immersive Spatial Audio experience is also coming, alongside Game Porting Toolkit 2 for developers.
What to Expect from Mac's Sequoia Update?
In macOS 15's Preview, Apple Intelligence got a frontline feature that touts the generative AI capabilities to enjoy on the Mac including Writing Tools powered by ChatGPT, AI image generation, and Siri's massive revamp.
Moving files from Mac to iPhone will be as easy as drag and drop, Presenter view for FaceTime, Zoom, and more, as well as iMessage's new features will be available for later this year.
