  • There are cool days at work and then there are cool 😎 days at work. Today was a cool day at work. We got the chance to come together and do something for our greater community . With #youthday around the corner we partnered with Rise Against Hunger Africa their amazing staff and the #louisbothachildrenshome together packed over 11000 meals for children in early development centers 🧒 in and around Johannesburg. Smiles all around and teams pulling together to achieve this target. We can’t recommend this enough as an amazing way to come together and achieve community goals. Bravo to the team!   #kemin #yourneedsbeforemine #riseagainsthungerafrica #teamwork #animalnutrition

  • 🐄 Maintaining optimal gut health in dairy cows is crucial for their overall health, productivity, and welfare. The digestive system of a dairy cow is intricate, consisting of multiple organs and a rich, diverse microbial population. Disruptions to gut health can lead to digestive disorders, reduced feed efficiency, and decreased milk production. Steyn Pretorius, our Technical Manager for Dairy, recently published an article where he discusses various strategies that farmers can use to improve gut health, including Dietary Management, Microbiome Modulation and Environmental Factors. By focusing on these strategies, farmers can help their dairy cows maintain robust gut health, leading to improved productivity and overall well-being. Click on the link https://lnkd.in/db6bmQrn to read Steyn’s article and how you can maintain optimal gut health.  #kemin #animalnutrition #dairycows #guthealth #dairyfarming
