Our fantastic team in Washington, D.C. participated in the 35th Annual Breakthrough T1D Real Estate Games. The event was a massive success, raising over $602,000 for Type 1 Diabetes research. Since its founding in 1990 by Adam Singer, the event has raised over $15 million for diabetes research. Reflecting on April & Earth Month, we wanted to take a moment to recognize L'Oreal's collective efforts and successes in the world of #sustainability. 🌎 L'Oreal West became the first facility in the zone to achieve LEED Platinum and WELL certification. 🔋 Our new R&I Campus boasts an on-site solar array that covers 60% of its energy usage. 💫 Through the Inclusive Sourcing program, North America supported the employment of 5,346 beneficiaries coming from underrepresented communities. 🍃 We reduced product waste by improving launch efficiency, reducing returns, and donating over 12 million units of finished goods. 🚚 We improved transportation emissions with a 38% reduction in airfreight emissions compared to 2022. ♻️ We scaled our Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly badging through Cradle to Cradle certifications and now have badging on 600+ products. 💧 For the 8th year in a row, L'Oreal Groupe received a 'AAA' rating, the highest rating, from the CDP on our sustainability commitments to water, forest, and fighting climate Change. We're excited to announce that Lincoln Property Company has joined the development team for 6767 W Sunset, led by Thomas St John, founder of the Thomas St John Group. This project spans nearly two acres at the iconic intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Hollywood. Originally planned as a creative office space with music recording and video production at its core, shifting market dynamics now make residential an attractive alternative for the site. In collaboration with architect HKS, Inc., we are exploring new residential schemes, which will still include recording studios. Rob Kane, Senior Executive Vice President, and Sam Pepper, RA, Vice President, are leading this exciting new phase. We're thrilled to announce a major milestone for Warsaw’s iconic Wola business district: The Form, our next-generation building has reached its final roof height (topped out)! Designed by the visionary collaboration of Kuryłowicz & Associates, Vietzke & Borstelmann Architekten and Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction, The Form's 28,300 square meters will feature nine floors of office, service and retail space. Ryan shared: “Institutional capital is plowing into the data center sector like never before, but these investors can’t all create internal sector-specific investment platforms.
