1EdTech Contributing Members are leaders shaping the future of edtech. They are the organizations working tirelessly behind the scenes to overcome challenges with innovations and strategies that improve teaching and learning at all levels. 

We've established the annual Power Learner Potential Awards to recognize these organizations and their efforts in advancing an open, innovative, and trusted edtech ecosystem that benefits everyone.

The Power Learner Potential Awards are given annually at the Learning Impact Conference.

To nominate your organization for an award, you must meet specific criteria in the following four categories in the table below—demonstrating your commitment to upholding, evolving, and accelerating the mission of 1EdTech.

  • Set and meet expectations for certification requirement(s) to 1EdTech standards.
  • Participate in a leadership capacity in 1EdTech activities.
  • Advocate for the development and implementation of open standards.
  • Recruit new members to 1EdTech.
  • Share your expertise within the community in an identified area.
  • Actively participate in face-to-face and virtual member meetings 
  • Present at in-person and virtual events to advocate for 1EdTech standards to address the most pressing challenges facing education
  • Participate in the TrustEd Apps Certified Leader (TACL) program 
  • Connect and collaborate with other 1EdTech members to offer support and collaboration 
     
  • Demonstrate progress towards creating a responsive, innovative, and trusted ecosystem
  • Illustrate innovative uses of educational technology 
  • Work collaboratively to evolve the standards
  • Develop and share expertise in a concentrated area
  • Develop pilots and products leveraging the standards
  • Submitted or recognized as a finalist for the Learning Impact Awards program within the last 12 months.
     
  • Document evidence of strategies for achieving greater digital equity and access
  • Improve data privacy, accessibility and security practices
  • Help learners capture and share achievements for a lifetime of opportunities
  • Give learners and faculty a foundation of choice and personalization
  • Ensure your ecosystem provides usable insights and actionable data by requiring vendors or implementing and certifying for LTI Advantage data
