CECOM SEC Field Software Representatives (FSR) have bolstered readiness and responsiveness on multiple weapon systems in the European Theater for Defender exercises and Ukraine support. SEC will continue to ensure European combat strength through assurance that incoming units are fully mission capable before arriving in theater. SEC leads the way in #MissionReadiness.

Earlier this week, CECOM SEC team members attended the FY24 C5ISR Safety Day event to learn about safety inside and outside the workplace. Kudos to everyone making safety a top priority! #SafetyFirst

Yesterday, CECOM SEC teammates met for the 3Q FY24 SEC Town Hall at Myer Auditorium. Director Garrett Shoemaker discussed organizational updates and gave special recognitions. Deputy Director Boomer Rizzo provided critical insights into the center’s reimbursable efforts and internal reskilling opportunities. SEC SMEs then briefed attendees on several cutting-edge projects. Before the event, the Technical Services Directorate presented a demo of their SEC Tracking & Release Tools (STaRT) innovation. The event had more than 1600 SEC employees onsite and on Teams, showing the continued focus on #PeopleFirst.

CECOM SEC recently improved the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) – Army Material Requirement Planning process, leading to significant improvements in requisition processes and system response time. With SEC receiving great feedback from the field, the new system prioritizes Aviation, Patriot, and deployed units.

CECOM SEC supported exercises at multiple locations throughout Europe from April 24th to May 17th as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. SEC provided continuous on-site and remote support to the 11th Airborne Division, 29th Infantry Division, and 3rd Brigade 10th Mountain Division troubleshooting and reloading systems to ensure operability throughout the exercises. SEC ensures operational readiness by developing, providing, integrating and maintaining Army Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), logistics, and business software. #ArmySoftware #ArmyReadiness

Today, CECOM SEC director Garrett Shoemaker and deputy executive director Ronald “Boomer” Rizzo Jr., conducted a walkthrough with their Operations and Security offices to meet and greet personnel. After completing their walkthrough, they hosted a group session where the focus was in line with CECOM SEC values like, “People First,” and they listened to team member’s questions and concerns, providing an in-person opportunity to speak with CECOM SEC leadership.
