Crux (YC W24) has raised $2.6 million in seed funding to create a decision-making AI copilot for enterprises that is fully aware of business context, preferences, KPIs, and macro-trends to help teams go from intent to action faster. While working with the Analytics and ML/AI teams at large orgs, Prabhat Singh, Atharva Padhye, and Himank Jain saw firsthand the gap between users and data-backed intelligence. The BI 1.0 stack in these orgs helps them build beautiful dashboards. Then the BI 2.0 stack came along which made it even easier to build dashboards. But these tools still required humans to do all the heavy lifting — like spotting anomalies, coming up with a hypotheses, and building a narrative. With Crux, they aim to attack this problem at its roots. Using LLMs as well as traditional deterministic models, Crux enables users to talk to their data as if they were talking to a human and uncover insights that they would spend days finding and comprehending. For example, marketers using HubSpot can ask a question like ‘Why are my email campaigns to new users getting low conversions?" To that end, the company is starting by helping SaaS teams embed an AI copilot in their product for their customers & CS teams. Congrats to the team on the round!

The journey of building AI Copilots (or any LLM application) is nothing less than a mirage. What seems "elegant to play around with" and "easy to build" in the playground stage unlocks a whole new set of challenges in production: 🗂 Navigating around Unsemantic Databases ℹ Aligning with Company-specific Context & Rules 💰 Optimizing the Cost of Hosting & Querying LLMs And before you know, what seemed like a hackathon project turns into a full-size team of engineers and PMs. At Crux, we relieve you of this hassle so that you can focus on creating, innovating and stay ahead of the pack. “.. all of our competitors have announced that they are launching an AI Copilot next quarter and we want to maintain our status as market leader” One of our recent conversations with a tech leader at a $100M+ ARR SaaS company gave us a whole new perspective of how market leaders are approaching AI Copilots. So we closely examined over 200+ conversations to make sense of WHY exactly are SaaS teams building their AI Copilots. Here is what we uncovered: Refer to the full article from the link in the comments. #AICopilot #SaaS #Analytics Crux Himank Jain Prabhat Singh

Building Crux (YC W24) - Decision Making AI Co-pilot | IIT Bombay

Every tech company in the world today has a roadmap to introduce an AI Co-Pilot to enhance their offering But what exactly is an AI Co-pilot? 🤔 Simply put, it’s a smart assistant that: ℹ️ Has full context of your business & goals  💡 Is capable of making decisions 🛠️ And executes actions on your behalf And why is this so critical? Enterprise users have to navigate through complex software to move the needle. Performing the smallest of actions takes weeks. Users have to: 1) Make sense of data from multiple sources 2) Incorporate subjective inputs from colleagues 3) Reach an optimal decision and execute actions But are LLMs capable of owning each of these processes with reliable accuracy? Battling with vague user input, LLM hallucination, limited context length, unstructured data sources, and the high cost of hosting models is a huge trade-off. This battle can be won with collaboration and co-building. Hence, enterprises are relying on specialized partners who excel at solving specific problems. Crux is a partner to those who aspire to build an AI Copilot by excelling in the decision-making piece 🧠 Which other parts of AI Co-Pilots have you seen getting built? "Will my data be at risk if I build an LLM application?" This is what we hear in almost EVERY conversation with product & data leaders. These are real, valid concerns. As enterprise leaders, your organization needs to be de-risked from all privacy breakdowns at the LLM-level, infrastructure-level or at the application-level. But this shouldn't come in the way of innovation, right? That's why we're building Crux with a privacy-first foundation in place so that you can focus on discovering real use cases, while we take care of the rest. Find out more about how Crux is tackling privacy concerns head-on: https://lnkd.in/grfPv2pj #LLM #Privacy #GenerativeAI
