The most important job at a company? Helping customers be successful. When breaking down every function, the role of assisting customers in getting more value is number one. As they grow and increase their revenue, the significance of this job becomes clear. Why is this role gaining so much attention now? - Customer Acquisition Challenges: - Budgets are tightening. - Increased scrutiny. - Workforce reductions. - Disrupted digital marketing channels. For the past 15 years, digital marketers thrived on Google and Meta for cheap, high-volume customer acquisition. That era is being disrupted, making customer success more vital than ever. — Jon Dick on The GTM Podcast.

I can confirm that cold calling is not dead. 42% of GTM leaders that I’ve interviewed to see what is working for them and what they’re leaning into through the rest of the year for growth have referenced cold calling as being a key pillar. It’s not dead… but it can suck 🙃 And that’s exactly why it works ✅ Next week, going live through GTMnow to share the details behind how to make cold calling work for you and your team 📹 I’ll ask Armand Farrokh and Nick Cegelski these 2 unbelievable questions and much more: 👉 What are cold call activity and conversion benchmarks that teams can reference? Connect rates, set rates, show rates, etc. 👉 What is the exact playbook for building a minimum viable cold calling playbook? (opener, problem prop, top 5 objections) Armand and Nick are Founders of 30 Minutes to President’s Club, known for the no.1 podcast in sales that breaks down the tactics of the top 1% of sellers in the world. But they’re operators first, content creators second. Nick was the top enterprise seller at multiple companies where he sold six and seven-figure deals. Armand was the VP of Sales who led Pave from $100k to $13M+ in revenue under 2 years. ➡ Register through the link in comments / under live events on the GTMnow website. One standard Udi Ledergor 🏳🌈 Ledergor advises more content teams should adopt: would people pay to consume this content? Is your content valuable enough for people to pay for it? It might sound far-fetched, but consider this: everyone subscribes to services like The New York Times, Spotify, or MasterClass. We all recognize the value of good content and are willing to pay for it. Ask yourself: is your content worth paying for? If not, it’s time to reassess. It shouldn't be just an extended press release of your latest product that no one really cares about unless you’re a company like Google, OpenAI, or Apple, where product releases matter to people. For everyone else, creating content that people want to consume for its own sake is crucial.
