We had a great time tracking trends, enjoying (a lot of) food samples, seeing old and new friends, and strolling through the vast floor at this year’s Specialty Food Association Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC! Some of this year’s top trends included: 🌶️ Turning up the Heat: Spice was everywhere, with numerous new hot sauce brands and spicy twists being added to nearly every product category. 🥨 Elevated Snacks: The snacking world is evolving with innovative options like rice-based popcorn and protein-packed chips made from chicken, offering a fresh take on traditional snacks. 🇰🇷 Spotlight on Korean Cuisine: Among the 56 countries represented, Korea truly stood out with its culinary delights such as bulgogi, kimchi, ice cream treats, and tteokbokki featured prominently throughout the conference.
