RFA Engineering earns recognition as a John Deere “Partner-level Supplier”, Cost Reduction Opportunities Process Award, & Supplier Innovation Award, Eden Prairie, MN – RFA Engineering has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2023 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program while also receiving the John Deere Cost Reduction Opportunities Process (JD CROP) & Supplier Innovation Awards. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. The Eden Prairie based company was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement for the 11th consecutive year.  The JD CROP, a supplier suggestion process, is part of Deere & Company’s Achieving Excellence program and was awarded for providing cost-reduction ideas of outstanding quality, and for demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement. This was RFA Engineering’s 3rd JD CROP Award. The John Deere supplier Innovation award was awarded for providing innovation encompassing the following four categories: creativity, feasibility, collaboration, and business impact.  Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, delivery, process alignments, value creation and relationship. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement. Company employees Parker Dougherty and Casey Shockman accepted the recognition awards during formal ceremonies held on April 11th in Moline, IL

May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says mental illness can affect employees in several ways including negatively altering job performance, productivity, communication with coworkers, physical capacity to function, and personal well-being. Ensuring employees are healthy benefits both your organization and your team members. When employees know their well-being is supported, they’re more productive and both mentally and physically healthier. Employers can do many things to support their employees including normalizing mental health conversations, burnout prevention, employee mental health support, and communicating mental health benefits. Last weekend RFA Engineering sponsored an event with the Robot Smashing League. Over 700 people viewed the matches live online and 63 competitors showed up to show off their bots, making it one of the year's largest events.
