Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) was delighted to host our colleagues from the U.S. Army CECOM G1 yesterday. Several new employees traveled from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to the depot for an orientation visit in which they were able to meet our workforce, tour our cutting-edge facilities, and share best practices. TYAD Leadership Development Specialist Tara Phillips believes interorganizational communication is imperative to our continued success. “These visits are a great opportunity for us network with our higher headquarters and educate the CECOM workforce on the various capabilities TYAD can provide,” she added. Team Tobyhanna thanks our teammates at CECOM for their enduring support! #TOBY2035 | #ShapeTheFuture | #StrategicCommunications | #OneTeam | #BeAllYouCanBe [image description: Image depicts several individuals posing in a lobby with a large digital screen in the background and a rug that reads "Tobyhanna, Excellence in Electronics in the foreground.]

#MissionMonday – Reaffirming our unwavering dedication and operational agility, Team Tobyhanna’s C5ISR Forward Repair Activity at Fort Liberty responded to a critical mandate outlined in the Department of the Army's Executive Order 235-24 Presidential Drawdown Directive, which necessitated the rapid extraction of all C5ISR equipment from ten Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) M1224 MaxxPros. The team swiftly reallocated personnel and adjusted workloads to complete the equipment removal within two days, resulting in the effective transfer of the MRAPs to the flight line where they were promptly dispatched to support urgent operations in Haiti. Tobyhanna Army Depot’s global reach ensures we are at the forefront of military logistics and support. We are grateful for our workforce - near and far - for answering the call and ensuring our nation’s warfighters are prepared to carry out their missions! #TOBY2035 | #C5ISRReadiness | #BeAllYouCanBe | #OneTeam | #MakingADifference [image description: The first image depicts an individual working on the outside of a military asset. Depot Commander Col. James L. Crocker and the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) leadership team were proud to welcome retired Col. Joseph P. DeAntona to share his profound perspectives on leadership and change with the workforce yesterday. The presentation was part of the part of the TOBY2035 Invest In Our People initiative, which aims to inspire an environment of inclusion, psychological safety, courage, and mutual respect. Crocker first met DeAntona in 2003 when he was assigned to his battalion and credits much of his success as a young officer to his enduring support and leadership. DeAntona’s message acknowledged the continuous transformation of the military and underscored the importance of TYAD’s mission. “You have a responsibility to the American people,” he said. “As public servants, failure is not an option.” DeAntona brought valuable insights gained over his 30-year military career. He believes that organizational success depends on the willingness to embrace change and remain flexible. “We may not like change, but we are good at it,” he emphasized. Team Tobyhanna thanks retired Col. DeAntona for sharing his experiences during this exciting engagement! #TOBY2035 | #InvestInOurPeople | #ShapeTheFuture | #BeAllYouCanBe | #ContinuousTransformation [image description: First image depicts an individual speaking into a microphone at a podium.
