Energy storage is a game-changer for tackling climate change. It reduces our reliance on fossil fuels, cuts greenhouse gas emissions, and supports a resilient energy infrastructure. By storing excess energy from renewable sources like solar and wind, battery storage ensures a reliable supply of clean energy even when the sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing. Check out the most recent episode of our Utah Talks Climate podcast, featuring Tyler Hortin, CEO of Lion Energy to talk about how energy storage is revolutionizing the way we make and use energy. https://lnkd.in/gnRvfmV7

Yesterday marked a milestone in Utah's clean energy journey as the ribbon was cut for the new Utah Clean Energy Headquarters! In addition to being one of the city’s most energy efficient, climate-wise buildings, this building also has a state-of-the-art, net-zero design! The HQ will be home to a laboratory and teaching tools for the community to learn how to build and renovate buildings for optimal pollution reduction. Thank you to all of the team members, trade partners, Utah Clean Energy, and Blalock and Partners for moving sustainability in the right direction! #Sustainability #Utah #CleanEnergy #SLC #Construction #Okland
