We want to thank our Winchester Hospital Lifeline Team for being involved with the community and bringing education about Lifeline to events near you. Our team recently spent time at the Mystic Valley Elder Services Provider Fair and Reading's Pleasant Street Center Health Fair to showcase what Lifeline can do for older adults in the region. Lifeline has been a leading provider of affordable, personal response service for more than 20 years. The service helps seniors live independently while ensuring that help is just a button push away, 24 hours a day! Thank you, Lifeline Team, for everything you do. 💙

We recently had the pleasure of being an exhibitor at Winchester Town Day! We distributed free bok choy from New Entry Sustainable Farmer's Market and discussed healthy eating education from our Nutrition team. Thank you to our staff that tabled at the event, and to Mary Ellen Armstrong, ED Nurse Shift Leader & Ellen Hamilton, Nurse Manager, who were both #WinchesterHospitalBaby's as well! We had a great day out in the community and look forward to next year!

For more than 100 years, Winchester Hospital has provided exceptional, patient-centered care to new parents and babies. In recognition of this commitment to excellence, the hospital has received a gift of $2.5 million from Cummings Foundation to support the renovation of the Labor and Delivery unit! In recognition of this gift, the unit has been named the Dr. Peter Rotolo Labor and Delivery Unit, after the late Rotolo, who was a highly respected & accomplished obstetrician–gynecologist at our hospital for 40 years. As we end the month of May, I want to take a moment to highlight some of our team members at Winchester Hospital. Congratulations to Emma, RN from the Special Care Nursery Division for receiving the “Outstanding Nurse Award” this week in her department. Emma and her dedicated colleagues provide exceptional advanced level care to our babies in time of need. A shoutout to Eunice, RN, and Duncan, RN, from Surgical Services, whose positivity and humor brighten every interaction. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our dedicated teams.
