Need an overview for creating deals in your pipeline? Take a look at this video... Here are the steps to Create a Deal in HubSpot - Tutorial: 1. Navigate to CRM > Deals > Create deal. Name the deal and add it to a pipeline. Give it a deal stage. Add an amount. Associate the deal to a contact and a company. 2. There are other values you can fill into the properties but in order to create the deal you have to at least fill in all the required properties. 3. EQUITABLE ≠ FAIR Jamie Edwards, Head of GTM Ops & Tools at Gusto, illustrates this difference with the example of 2 types of sellers: 🤝 Relationship sellers: Super methodical reps who invest significant time to bringing in larger deals. ☎️ Quick sellers: Reps who strive on getting the quickest sale possible, and keep moving forward. Here's how the approach differs when you're assigning accounts: ⚖️ EQUITABLE: You assign an equal number of accounts to each seller. ✅ FAIR: You assign accounts based on the type of seller, i.e., more accounts for the quick seller as compared to the relationship seller. Behind every successful AE is a strong SDR. I hear crazy stories of AE and SDR's not getting along and blaming each other for mistakes. But i think the biggest thing i lack of communication. Not being clear on expectations from both of us. One my rule of thumbs, is an EOW recap meeting (usually less then 25 min) Why? I want to make sure were all on the same page. -Understanding what we both accomplished -Areas for improvement -Tips/Tricks -Coffee conversation to see how we both are doing. By having these simple conversations its allows you even build a strong relationship with your SDR or AE. Remember... Y'all are on the same team here 🏆

How to be an Un-Authentic Salesperson: - Misrepresent product features or benefits - Use aggressive sales techniques - Focus on closing - Over-Promising - Keep your pitch the same for all prospects - Fall out of touch after closing the sale Jason Cutter, four time author, international speaker, and I recently had a conversation about how to make sure we aren't using sales psychology the wrong way. Sometimes we might get caught up putting our commissions and big funnel opportunities before our best intentions. It's putting the close in mind ahead of our prospects needs that ultimately make us less money and peace in the long run. A friendly reminder that sales should be: - Putting the buyers goals ahead of ours - Looking for mutual benefit  - Consciously making sure our active listening and note taking is on point - Being reliable and transparent It's following these reminders that are going to close more deals.
