Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Manager to join our team. This role will oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable operations process, including billing, collections, software management, reporting, and documentation. Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing and accounts receivable department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and implement accounts receivable policies, procedures, and controls to support the rapid scaling of the company's operations
• Apply best practices and document standard operating procedures to streamline workflows and reduce risk of error
• Manage ERP software systems and tools, leveraging technology to support scalability and efficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal billing and accounts receivable inquiries and escalations, resolving issues promptly and maintaining positive client relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and customer support, to resolve escalations, improve process, and monitor efficiencies
• Analyze accounts receivable balances and financial reports to provide actionable insights to senior management to supporting strategic decision-making
• Generate regular reports and performance metrics to track accounts receivable accuracy, productivity, and other key performance indicators, providing visibility into productivity
• Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable specialists and billing analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) or other spreadsheet software for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, BillingPlatform, Salesforce, Yaypay, and/or Zendesk is a plus.
