Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Manager to join our team. This role will oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable operations process, including billing, collections, software management, reporting, and documentation. Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing and accounts receivable department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and implement accounts receivable policies, procedures, and controls to support the rapid scaling of the company's operations
Apply best practices and document standard operating procedures to streamline workflows and reduce risk of error
Manage ERP software systems and tools, leveraging technology to support scalability and efficiency
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal billing and accounts receivable inquiries and escalations, resolving issues promptly and maintaining positive client relationships
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and customer support, to resolve escalations, improve process, and monitor efficiencies
Analyze accounts receivable balances and financial reports to provide actionable insights to senior management to supporting strategic decision-making
Generate regular reports and performance metrics to track accounts receivable accuracy, productivity, and other key performance indicators, providing visibility into productivity
Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable specialists and billing analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds goals and objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) or other spreadsheet software for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, BillingPlatform, Salesforce, Yaypay, and/or Zendesk is a plus.
