After a massive Xbox Games Showcase this June, Microsoft's gaming division has made another announcement. It recently confirmed that Xbox will bring what it claims to be its "biggest booth yet" in the upcoming Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany.

Gamescom 2024, set from August 21 to 25, will see Xbox maker Microsoft showcase a list of games. The current list, posted on the official Xbox account on X, mentions nine games but says there's more to come.

Xbox Is Set to Appear on Gamescom 2024

Xbox has announced via X that it is returning this year to the Gamescom event. The company teased that for its 2024 showcase at Gamescom, Xbox's booth will offer in-person attendees a unique experience when visiting it in late August.

Xbox will be the only presenter at Gamescom among the Big Three in the gaming industry. According to ComicBook Gaming, both Sony's PlayStation and Nintendo are skipping this year's event.

Nine Games Teased for Xbox at Gamescom 2024

In a separate X post, the gaming division revealed the games the public can expect in the upcoming Gamescom event.

• Avowed
• Ara: History Untold
• Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred
• Diablo Immortal
• The Elder Scrolls Online
• Fallout 76
• Towerborne
• World of Warcraft: The War Within

Xbox detailed nine titles already, but it also said that more will be available during the event.

Xbox and Its Recent Developments

The recent June event from Xbox was a massive one, and it offered significant announcements to its fans and the world, with new titles and experiences coming soon.

One of the most anticipated revelations was the possible debut of the Xbox Handheld console. However, the event did not mention anything about this new device from the company.

During the event, the company announced the revamped versions of its Xbox Series X consoles, which now had three new variants for gamers to purchase: 1TB in Robot White, 1TB digital edition in Robot White, and 2TB Galaxy Black special edition.

The "white" versions would be the first time the Xbox Series X will be available to purchase in a white colorway from Microsoft. Microsoft said these consoles would be available to purchase in late 2024, particularly during the holiday season, with pre-orders to be announced later. 

At the event, the company also revealed the 30 titles coming to the Microsoft gaming platform, including the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Indiana Jones: The Great Circle. 

Some of the games Xbox teased for its Gamescom appearance were already announced in Xbox Games Showcase, but more is in store for the August event attendees.
