Each phone in the Galaxy Z series is built to be tough and to last through everyday wear and tear. The new Galaxy Z Series 6 phones are built with Armour Aluminium that’s 10% tougher than the Z 5 series phones. They also use Gorilla Glass Victus 2, to keep the screen protected from scuffs and scrapes.

All Galaxy Z Series phones feature IPX8 water resistance, meaning they’re water-resistant for up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater.

The Z Series 6 phones have the very latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, with built-in optimisation for streaming apps. They also come with all-new Galaxy AI features that you don't get on Z Series 5. 

Z Series 6 phones also have the latest Android 14 operating system, compared to Android 13 on Series 5. The Flip6 and Fold6 both have a bigger battery capacity than their predecessors. And they come with improved camera tech and editing capabilities. The Flip6 has a 50MP main camera, compared to 12MP on the Flip5. 

The Galaxy Z Fold6 AI has a slightly larger cover display than the Galaxy Fold6 – 6.3in compared to 6.2in. It supports 15W Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless Powershare, but the Galaxy Fold5 only comes with 15W wireless charging.

Galaxy Z Flip6 is 71.9 x 165.1 x 6.9mm when it’s unfolded, and is 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm when it’s folded. 

Galaxy Z Fold6 is 132.6 x 153.5 x 5.6mm when it’s unfolded, and 68.1 x 153.5 x 12.1mm when folded.

Yes, all phones in the Galaxy Z 4, Z 5, and Z 6 series support dual SIM, meaning they can use a physical SIM and an eSIM.
