We had a lovely evening at the Just Like Us Awards 2024 in London, celebrating the achievements of so many inspiring young people. We are happy to be working in partnership with Just Like Us in a cross-border initiative to end homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in schools. European Football for Development Network X Rangers Charity Foundation #Diversitywins Primary Roadshow week! 🗣️⚽️🚀 Delighted to be welcomed back for a second year with Time for Inclusive Education (TIE). Great school to start. LGBT bullying starts at primary school, if we can continue to educate with real life examples & scenarios. I have no doubt this will have a ripple effect on our youth ❤️

Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) X Strathaven Academy Challenging Homophobia in Football workshop 🗣️🌈⚽️ We are currently counting how many workshops we have done so far! Roughly 20-30 we think. The feedback data we have received has been so powerful & actually emotional to read at times. In light of Lesbian Visibility Week ✨ I quote the amazing Lisa Power (link to full podcast in comments). “You have to help people understand why something is unfair. You can’t just stand there.. beating them over the head with a placard going it’s unfair! You have to give them the stories of human beings”. ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ #LGBTQ+ #footballworkshops #lesbianvisibilityweek

Last week, I had the pleasure of quiz-mastering (with my glamorous assistant MFMac Partners!) at our first LGBTQIA+ MFMac Employee Resource Group event! It was a great night and we managed to raise £800 for Time for Inclusive Education (TIE). Big thank you to Jordan Daly for his inspiring welcome speech. Looking forward to many more events like this in the future!

Thank you Brian McDermott, an honour to meet a footballing legend. Also appreciate the kind words. Really enjoyable workshop today at Hibernian Football Club. If any football academy or school of football would like this session please book: hello@tie.scot Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) making waves in Scottish Football and delighted to be apart of this effective workshop ❤️ 🌈 ⚽️
At Hibernian Football Club we do a lot of good work away from the football pitch. Today it was our pleasure to welcome Liam, Graham and Zander from Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) . Zander Murray’s thought provoking talk, regarding his journey in football, was brilliant. Our under 18 squad in the room were engaged in everything that was said in the room. In the last 40 years things have changed regarding, homophobia, sexism, racism. We still have so much work to do . At Hibernian Football Club we will not tolerate any form of discrimination 💚

“The survey shows strong support for children and young people learning about LGBT-related bullying and prejudice at school, and we know that the best way to break down these prejudices is through education and representation. This is why it is so important for our children and young people to receive a comprehensive education through understanding the diversity of our families and communities, and the prejudices they experience.”
