In partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide and Scholastic, Mercedes-Benz USA launched Clifford Takes a Ride, a children’s book promoting road safety. The initiative includes distributing 30,000 free copies nationwide through Mercedes-Benz dealerships and Safe Kids Worldwide coalitions. The book's debut event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday, July 18, featured a reading by Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons Legend and MBUSA Brand Ambassador, attended by over 500 YMCA campers. This effort is part of MBUSA's Driving Your Future CSR program, aiming to educate and empower the next generation on safety and innovation. The book and safety tour commenced in Atlanta, highlighting interactive education stations on passenger, pedestrian, and bike safety. Ryan, alongside Clifford the Big Red Dog, engaged children in fun activities like helmet fittings and pedestrian crossing simulations. This initiative underscores Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to community and safety, utilizing engaging storytelling to impart critical safety lessons nationwide.
