We spend all year at Huckleberry marveling at the wonder of moms but we believe they are in need of more than one day of recognition. Throughout May, we’re celebrating their resiliency and exploring the many ways motherhood impacts mental health and wellness. It’s a paradox: One moment, your heart may swell with soaring highs, then you’re suddenly clouded with worry, frustration, or overwhelm — sometimes all in the span of an hour! And just like the weather, you can’t always predict what’s coming next. But moms need more than just recognition, so we'll also offer realistic ways to find balance in the chaos. We've partnered with experts to bring awareness to maternal mental health, share resources, and discuss adaptable ways to cope with the ever-changing ebb and flow of parenthood. Huckleberry is partnering with Dr. Natalie Berriz and Dr. Melissa Andersen, Pediatric Feeding Psychologists from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at University of Michigan Health, to support feeding tube awareness and provide education about tube feeding. After a member of the Huckleberry team welcomed a son who was tube-fed for months, we began looking for ways to better support families in similar situations. Tube Feeding is now in the Huckleberry app! Parents can now log tube feedings in the Feeding section of the app. The new feature in the app includes tube feeding as a category, a small but significant update that allows families of tube-feeding babies to track all their child’s feeding methods in one place. Celebrate six years of Huckleberry with us! 🎉 The app started with sleep tracking and sleep plans for ages 6 months and up. Since then, we've worked hard to do all we can to support families and have added many features for parents — SweetSpot, baby tracking, newborn plans, and a comprehensive blog to guide parents through parenthood. We're excited for what's ahead for Huckleberry in 2023 and beyond.
