This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of the 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials here in Indy was something we couldn’t pass up. It was full of challenges but ended with lots of great relationships, partnerships, and learning experiences we are so thankful for. Being the representation our whole team has always dreamt of seeing when we were growing up means the world to us. We hope this project inspires the next generation of welders. Tonight from 5pm-9:30pm is the launch of the trials and the free Starting Block Part presented by F.A. Wilhelm Construction It’ll be a fun evening of music and family fun activities. The last 10 months we have had so much growth: 1) Tripled our team size 2) Promoted 4 of our staff into leadership roles 3) Secured an opportunity to Fabricate a 66ft Eiffel Tower for the Swimming Olympic Trials 4) Tripled our budget 5) Landed our first ever federal grant also our largest grant 6) Moved into a new facility 7) Created 4 Departments! And today we had our first ever Department Leadership meeting! We're less 100 days away from the USA Swimming Olympic Trails being hosted here in City of Indianapolis and are so excited to be working alongside an amazing group of people! This June Indy will be buzzing with so many exciting activities.

Thank you so much @cityofindianapolis and @mayorjoeforindy for proclaiming April as Women in Welding month here in Indianapolis and April 4-10th as Latinas in Welding Week! Here’s how the month started: 1) We kicked off the month by going to a @pacers game with friends and family last night to celebrate! Thank you so much Rico for hooking us up with tickets so we could all enjoy a fun filled night! 2) @kelli.malise got word that her Spring Break Youth Camp ended with eight certified welders… that’s right! All eight of the campers got certified, so we’re beyond thrilled and proud that there there are young adults 13-17 yrs old who have their first certifications. @arthurdeanfamilyfoundation thank you so much for funding this camp! 3) We partnered up with @kismeticbeerco to do a collab on a Mexican Lager - which they will be tapping this coming Thursday with 10% of sales coming back to support our programs.
