Earlier this month, the Almabase team flew 5,000+ miles to attend the IDPE conference in Nottingham, UK. In a nutshell, if I had to describe the The Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) community in one word, I would say: supportive 🤝 Having worked with alumni and development professionals for the last two years, it was exciting to step into the shoes of a development professional and be one among them. Thank you, Louise Bennett, Nicki Goddard, and Annabel, for being such fantastic hosts. Very early in the conference, Shalaka Karlekar told me that I was doing a great job, and that fueled my confidence in ways I couldn't imagine 🚀 💯 A special shoutout to Rosslyn Owen for going out of her way to introduce me to the school system and the nuances of the sector. Philippa Dunford-Jeffs and Monica Popa - It was so much fun. Thank you for being so supportive!
