Leaders, remember to practice what you preach. If you expect personalized messaging from your team, provide personalized coaching, metaphors, and analogies to them as well. By getting to know your team, their past, and interests, they will be better equipped to absorb your coaching effectively. examples, if they like the bachelor, let them know they should be working towards getting the first rose in the prospecting plan Geeks: it's important that they beleive in the me, that believes in themselves" confidence is king sports - top athletes don't get by on just talent alone, every top golfer practices their swing until perfection, only making small, meaningful tweaks each time, and talks it out with their coach. moms: behold the power of mom voice, you speak so those nice boys and girls will listen and follow your instructions. share your favorite.metaphors/analogies below #Leadership #Coaching #TeamManagement

No matter how poorly you start off, maybe you feel like the score is an almost unsurmountable 0-1, remember your talent, work hard, and you too may just score in the last kicks of the game. Thanks #England for showing off the metaphorical "one more call" mentality that is often associated by winners. Join me later as we talk a little bit more about how it's important when things are going south(gate) to remember to change tactics, Test different Outreach formations, and make sure your creative players (TAA) have a platform to bring in some new energy. #football #prospecting #coldcalls #SDR

This is your Friday reminder! Image is pretty important, so take a quick stock of what's in the background of your screen share square. For instance, when Artemis, the Prospecting goldendoodle is in my background, I notice my meetings are more calm and successful What's your trick for making your screenshare background more successful?

Good news hiring sales world! Dan is a world class Leader. He loves building and growing human, and scalable revenue teams. He's also an excellent mentor, father and friend. He is someone who will bring success and represent you're brand well! Let me know I'd I can make an intro!
Well that's my time. This week, I learned that my position is redundant and my skills are no longer needed at ezCater. We had a blast, though. In just 2.5 years, we grew bookings over 4,000%, scaled the team over 450%, and achieved 100s of millions of dollars in bookings. Most importantly, we did it through kindness, care, and humility. There are quite literally hundreds of people that I want to thank for the opportunity of a lifetime, but LinkedIn has a character limit on posts. That being said, a very special thank you to Diane Swint and Ryan Massimo. Thank you for believing in me, for giving me the opportunity and the resources to be successful in our endeavors. Most importantly, thank you both for being the greatest leaders I've ever had the humble privilege to work with. I'll never forget the lessons you taught me (intentionally and unintentionally). I can't wait until we get to do this again! To the rest of my friends and colleagues at ezCater. I love you all very much, wish you the absolute best, and look forward to your continued success (also hoping we get to work together again). Always remember: Raise boys, not grass. Until next time...

The Hitchhiker's Guide to Prospecting and SDRing 👍 🚀 defines Csuite and Senior VPs in a prospecting view as Such: "Perceptively The Csuite, ad Senior VPs are seemingly so far away, and high above the 'lowly' SDR, and thus be feared to attempt any sort of contact, less you fail and are subject to Vogon Poetry. However this is completely far and utterly away from the truth. The Csuite and VPs are Human, and there for 'mostly harmless'. Confidence and efficiency and a good high level understanding of their company/industry challenges will. In short, speak to them as if they were efficient humans, and speak with a confident even paced tone, and with a notes ahead of time" Don't forget your towel (an acronym will arrive for that later)!

In our final high level persona series, let's talk about Execs. Execs are your Senior VPs/ C-Suite members Ultimately, it's their pen and ink that will probably sign your deal. However, it's not so often you'll see them in the early stages. Often times reaching out to execs, the goal is for them to send someone else to meet with you. This is optimal, as it's someone who has their ear and trust, but most likely a less volatile schedule. Remember, an exec is rarely going to be hands on with the smaller version of the issue, and if their numbers are ok, they may be hesitant to change. Messaging to them should be short, effective, and focused more on a bigger picture. Pros: -Authority -Direct connection to Champions -Knowledgeable about a greater portion of the business Cons: -Not as motivated to quicker action. -Demotivated by minutia -difficult to schedule/get in contact with Any tips you'd add for prospecting to Execs?
